The fraction inside tends to zero, since "powers beat logarithms" at infinity. To prove it, use the l'Hospital rule. However, this rule only applies to fractions and there is the cosine interfering. Since it is a nice (continuous) function, you can "pull it out of the limit" (cf. nice outer function).
