In this part we look at the series. We start with series of real numbers, which is a topic that we cover rather well, in particular we cover (absolute) convergence and properties of series, examples, summability and convergence tests. As usual, in practical mastery we get help from Methods Survey, Solved Problems and Exercises.

We then briefly look at sequences and series of functions, which is a vast and advanced topic and we only scrap the surface. It will serve as a springing board for two notions that can be used also on a basic level, the Taylor series and the Fourier series. Theoretically they are quite advanced, too; we will not go into it here in Math Tutor, rather we will provide some sort of a cookbook.
