When we introduced functions and then investigated them, we always worked with functions given by some expression (or more of them in the case of a split function). This is explicit definition of a function. However, there are other ways to define functions. Here we cover two popular ways, functions defined implicitly and functions defined as parametric curves. Both notions are more general than functions, which makes them quite useful.
