  • 1994: CSc. (=Ph.D.) degree in Numerical Mathematics, Charles University in Prague. Thesis: Řešení nelineárních eliptických úloh metodou konečných prvků.
  • 1987: RNDr. degree in Numerical Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague.
  • 1987: Graduated with honours from Numerical Mathematics studies of Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague. Thesis: Numerické řešení silně nelineárních eliptických úloh metodou konečných prvků, nejmenších čtverců a sdružených gradientů.
